As an experienced entrepreneur knowledgeable in all areas of management, including planning, marketing, finance, operations, and human resources, Mark has deeply immersed himself in the issues that directly face healthcare and retail. He has the distinctive ability to provide exceptional detail and one-on-one, interpersonal communication to all levels of a hospital organization. As Vice President, Interim Services, for Compass Clinical Consulting, Mark uses his unique talents to help clients meet both the professional and cultural goals of their organizations.

Throughout Mark’s career, he has remained focused solely on helping business thrive. Prior to joining Compass, Mark founded and was president of Hannahan Associates, which successfully recruited mid-level and senior healthcare managers for hospitals, physician groups, and HMOs. In addition, he served as the Director of Risk Management at the Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Ohio; as Assistant Administrator at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio; and, as Director of Operations at Choicecare, a large, physician-owned and controlled HMO. He has also served as president of a successful, nation-wide, retail franchise company which he grew and eventually sold. Mark’s widespread administrative experience has given him an extensive background and solid understanding of hospital leadership and complexities of the market first-hand. Mark has a substantial ability to apply his deep knowledge of leadership abilities in order to develop the most effective strategies for hospital settings; thereby providing clients with the most efficient solutions to not only meet, but exceed their needs.

Mark holds a Masters in Heathcare Administration from Xavier University, where he served as President of the Alumni Association; as well as an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.
