About Compass Clinical Consulting
Compass Clinical Consulting helps hospitals and health systems, and other healthcare organizations improve performance and overcome obstacles to providing safe, quality patient care.
We are clinically focused, driving change toward a goal of creating better American health systems through three services lines: clinical and operations performance improvement, accreditation and regulatory compliance, and interim healthcare leadership.
Founded in 1979 by Kate and Peter Fenner, Compass is known in the healthcare field for achieving long-term results and providing a significant return on investment. In 2018, Compass was acquired by TiER1 Performance Solutions, a strategy activation firm that improves organizations through the performance of people.
Together, we develop people-centric solutions that improve healthcare delivery across the nation.
Compass brings about change by…
- Assuring compliance with patient safety-focused regulations and accreditation standards
- Implementing systemic operational improvement solutions to ensure safe patient care
- Providing interim leadership that focuses on creating change leading to better care
In an increasingly regulated environment, hospitals are driven to provide safe, high quality care more consistently. But results don’t happen because a policy is signed. Results require leadership and change management. Our consultants and interims have been senior hospital leaders. We bring decades of experience to every engagement with an understanding that change must fit your organization, or it’s the wrong approach.
Working in close collaboration with us, our clients have achieved remarkable results.
